COVID-19 – Level 2 Protocol

From today CCC are back in the office and need your support…

If we have carried out a desktop survey for your customer during the Level 3 or 4 lockdowns and require a follow up physical survey, please inform us and we will get these booked in.

North Island – We are carrying out all residential and commercial surveys as prior to lockdown with the below processes in place.

South Island – We are carrying out Residential Distinction (NZI) only surveys and all commercial surveys, as prior to lockdown with the below processes in place. Unfortunately, we are unable to guarantee non-Distinction residential surveys being completed at the moment.

Renewals – All renewals are completed in our office; these remain in full operation.

All Surveys

  • Each customer will receive an email confirming survey time and our protocols.
  • Our surveyors will wear all PPE, face mask, gloves and will sanitise their hands prior to entry and on completion of your survey, this will be carried out at their vehicle.
  • All of our surveyors are logged on and off each survey by our technology thus providing our contact tracing data, if required.
  • Our surveyor will travel alone to each survey.
  • No staff member will come to work if they feel unwell.

Commercial Property Surveys

  • Our surveyor will comply with all Health & Safety requirements as per the property in addition to our own mentioned above.
  • We use a contactless measuring tool during our surveys.
  • Our surveyor will remain 2m+ away from other people on the property, where they can.
  • The surveyor will check in and discuss access with the contact.
  • We will not require anyone to accompany us during the survey.

Residential Property Surveys

  • We will not require anyone to accompany us during the survey.
  • We will ask owners to keep any animals away from our staff during this period, they usually enjoy interacting with customers’ dogs, cats or even chickens but we need to ensure their safety.
  • We use a contactless measuring tool during our survey.
  • The surveyor will call the customer when he is outside the property to announce his arrival and to ensure the customer is ready to accept him onto the property.

Contact Tracing

  • Our contact tracing is completed via our application, used by the surveyors for every property. This tags them on and off-site and can be easily accessed should the need arise.
